Earlier this year, Dead & Company rocked the jam band world by announcing a Halloween performance at Madison Square Garden. With John Mayer newly-initiated into the Grateful family, the show is the first of many and a great way to get the party started on Halloween. When that show lets out, however, theNewDeal and BoomBox will keep the dance party grooving well into the night. Tickets are available here.

It all goes down at the PlayStation Theater, where electronic duo BoomBox will get things going with an opening set. This group continues to impress with their exciting live sets! On the heels of their third full-length album, Filling In The Color, which was released earlier this year, BoomBox is bringing it night after night, and Halloween is sure to be no exception.

Headlining this late night party are jamtronica stalwarts, theNewDeal, who continue their triumphant return after being on hiatus for four years. With a newly polished lineup and sights set on the future, the trio of Jamie ShieldsDan Kurtz, and new drummer Joel Stouffer have successfully turned the page onto a bright new chapter in the band’s history.

About the state of theNewDeal, keyboardist Jamie Shields said:

I think we’ve come up with a way to take the best from both the live and studio worlds and make something that’s going to have the energy of a live show, but shaped in a way we could only do in the studio. theNEWDEAL has always been about development. When we’re performing on stage our goal is always to create a fresh musical idea and see in real-time how we can develop it – melodically, harmonically and structurally. Because we approach every show with an improvisational mindset, we know that every night brings a different concert, a different vibe and a different audience experience. Even with all those variables, it always ends up sounding like a New Deal show; exciting, driving and incredibly danceable!

The New Deal Open Ogden Theatre Show With 30-Minute Improv Jam

After a smattering of early 2015 winter dates, a handful of summer festival appearances through the summer, and now a proper Fall Tour, the Deal is ready to take their talents to the Big Apple for a late night throwdown. Really, is there anything that can compare to the energy of live music on Halloween?

Located in the heart of the Big Apple, the PlayStation Theater will be the perfect spot to get down after seeing the Dead & Company at Madison Square. Tickets are on sale now and can be found HERE. Don’t sleep on these for very long, as this promises to be an incredible Halloween late night dance party that you won’t soon forget!
