Calling all wizards – an undisclosed warehouse in Brooklyn will be transformed into Hogwarts for one night only. Dubbed the Chamber of Secrets, the Harry Potter-themed early Halloween rave will take place this Saturday, October 24th. No muggles allowed!
Hosted by Brooklyn collective The Culture Whore, the Chamber of Secrets will open from 11 PM-7 AM for a long night of techno-fueled witchcraft and wizardry. Complete with top-tier local DJs, a haunted house, and trippy art installations, this event is certainly one of a kind. There’s even a costume contest with a $100 prize, so don your spookiest look or channel your favorite Potter character.
“We’re descending into the depths of Hogwarts and up Salazar Slytherin’s asshole for a night of magical mayhem,” said Dommu of The Culture Whore. “Did you know Voldemort was a power top? You do now.”
“The look is Death Eater chic,” he continued. “Think, ‘What if Bellatrix Lestrange lived in Bushwick and was into techno?'”
