Thundercat has announced new dates for a 2021 edition of his It Is What It Is Tour. The multi-hyphenate bassist will be joined by Channel Tres throughout the North American trek.
The tour will begin with a series of festival appearances including Maha Music Festival in Ohama, NE (7/31); Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco (8/8); Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago (9/12); and iii Points Festival in Miami (10/23).
Thundercat tour will kick into gear that last week of October with shows throughout the Southeast including a Halloween concert at Atlanta’s newly-renovated The Eastern. The It Is What It Is Tour will take the enigmatic bassist into December before wrapping at the Knitting Factory in Boise, ID (12/5).

Thundercat had originally mounted his It Is What It Is Tour back in February 2020 ahead of the April release of his album of the same name. After just ten shows, however, he was forced to cancel the rest of the tour as the pandemic shut down the live events industry.
Tickets for the Thundercat It Is What It Is Tour go on sale on Friday, June 11th at 10 a.m. local time with pre-sales starting on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local. Scroll down to see a full list of tour dates.
