Todd Stoops Added To Stu Allen’s Grateful Dead Pre-Party

Stu Allen & The Mars Hotel recently announced “Front Left A-Fare,” a major benefit event surrounding the Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” reunion shows in Chicago. Taking place at the Redmoon Theater in Chicago, Allen will be performing before and after all three shows, and the venue will be showing the webcast during the “Fare Thee Well” shows themselves.

The shows will feature a number of special guests, including Col. Bruce Hampton, Rob Barraco, and DJ Logic. Now, we’ve just learned that keyboardist Todd Stoops will be joining in the festivities as well. He’ll be performing on the July 3rd pre-party, laying down those funky keys from 3-6 PM leading up to the first night of the three-night ‘Fare Thee Well’ run in Chicago.
