Joe Russo’s Almost Dead / Electron guitarist Tom Hamilton will be bringing his American Babies and some very special “Friends” to The Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO on Sunday, July 3rd, for a special late-night performance after the Dead & Company show at Folsom Field. Just a half-mile walk from one venue to the next, this should be quite the night of music! The show will also serve as an unofficial late night to Umphrey’s McGee/Joe Russo’s Almost Dead show taking place at Red Rocks as well as any other shows taking place around town that night.
Joining Hamilton and his American Babies will be fellow Almost Dead cohort Marco Benevento, Dead & Company bassist and former Allman Brothers Band member Oteil Burbridge, and some yet to be announced additional special guests.

Pulling opening duties on the night will be Grahame Lesh’s San Francisco-based band Midnight North, which features Alex Koford (drums), Alex Jordan (guitar/organ/vocals), Elliott Peck (guitar/keyboards/vocals), and Connor Croonn (bass). The group is a staple at the Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA, playing every Sunday with a rotating cast of guests, including the elder Lesh.
