Trampled By Turtles have announced a forthcoming EP comprised of cover recordings to be titled, Sigourney Fever.

The five-track covers album is due out December 6th, and will include the band’s takes on Neil Young’s “Pocahontas”, Warren Zevon’s “Keep Me In Your Heart”, Faces’ “Ooh La La”, Iris DeMent’s “Our Town”, and Radiohead‘s “Fake Plastic Trees”. The EP will be Trampled By Turtles’ studio follow-up to 2018’s Life is Good on the Open Road.

The band shared their recording of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” to go with Wednesday’s announcement. The video for the cover recording was designed by Mitch Peterson, with additional photos provided by Trampled By Turtles’ Dave Carroll.

Trampled By Turtles will navigate the Midwest and Northeast throughout January and February on their previously-announced 2020 winter tour, which will feature support from Them Coulee BoysUpstate, and Sierra Ferrell.
