Trey Anastasio has announced the postponement of four symphony shows set for summer 2020. The concerts will now take place in June 2021.

The Phish guitarist was set to team up with symphony orchestras from across the country on a small run of concerts.

In a Facebook post, Anastasio stated that the shows will be pushed to next summer. All tickets for the original dates will be honored at the new ones, and refunds can be requested through the point of purchase. The rescheduled dates will see Trey play at Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA (6/16); Tanglewood in Lenox, MA (6/18); Kennedy Center Music Hall in Washington, D.C. (6/23); and Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh, NC (6/25).

This announcement follows Phish’s revelation earlier this month that the band’s summer tour will be transposed to 2021. Trey had also canceled his summer tour with Trey Anastasio Band back in March, among the first wave of summer cancellations due to COVID-19. This now means that Trey Anastasio’s only scheduled live appearance for the remainder of 2020 will be with Oysterhead at the rescheduled Bonnaroo on September 24th—27th. Luckily, he has continued to invite fans into his home for the debut of new, original material throughout quarantine.
