With seemingly no signs of anything new from Phish any time in the near future, the October 16th release of Trey Anastasio’s, Traveler, will have to keep Phans satisfied for awhile. Recorded in Bridgeport CT at Tarquin Studios, owned by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol), the record contains a combination of songs the Trey Anastasio Band has been performing on recent tours, as well as, never heard before songs. The coolest track on the album has to be the band’s version of the Gorillaz song, ‘Clint Eastwood’. Boasting a plethora of backing artists including members of TAB, Bryan Devendorf and Matt Berninger of The National and Icelandic percussionist Samuli Kosminen.
