As if having The Roots, Bob Weir, Grace Potter and Warren Haynes playing under the same roof wasn’t enough for tonight’s Headcount Benefit at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, Roots Drummer Questlove tweeted this morning “To kickoff our 4 friday residency at @CapitolTheatre (30 mins outside NYC) tonight we welcome Trey Anistasio & Bob Weir & Warren Haynes!”

This is the second show for the newly renovated venue, after Bob Dylan helped reopen the doors this past Tuesday night to rave reviews.  “The Cap” boasts a serious lineup over the next few months, and this particular show is no different.  This will also mark the second time that Trey and The Roots will play together, after both joined BB King for a rendition of “Rock Me Baby” for the film All Access back in 2000 (which was produced by Capitol Theatre and Brooklyn Bowl co-founder Peter Shapiro).

Tickets for tonight’s benefit are still available, and can be purchased here. The show is scheduled to begin at 8pm.
