Turkuaz will return to the road with a 2021 fall tour of concerts with special guest Thumpasaurus at select shows. The new slate of dates begins on October 8th in New Orleans during Jazz Fest and runs through mid-December.

The newly announced stretch of tour dates will find the Brooklyn-bred nonet lighting out of NOLA and traveling through the Southeast throughout October. The band will then return to New York for a two-night Halloween run at Webster Hall on October 30th and 31st. After a tour of the Northeast, Turkuaz will head down the East Coast and into the Midwest in November and December.

The band will head as far west as Omaha, NE and Denver, CO on December 10th and 11th before wrapping the tour in Chicago, IL on December 18th. Turkuaz will then ring in 2022 with a two-night The Ball Drop New Year’s celebration in Hartford, CT on December 30th and 31st.

“We’re ready to be back on the bus, trekking around the country, and bringing that energy that only live (and loud) music brings to us and our fans alike,” Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein said in a statement.

An artist pre-sale for tickets to Turkuaz’s 2021 fall tour is now open, with a general public on-sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. local time via the band’s website.

These new dates come in addition to the band’s previously announced list of summer shows, featuring numerous appearances with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew for tributes to Talking Heads‘ Remain In Light. For a full list of upcoming Turkuaz tour dates, see below or head here.
