Twiddle has added five new tour dates in the Northeast to its Distance Makes The Heart Tour, which will be the band’s final shows before the start of an indefinite hiatus. The announcement comes after the band was forced to postpone three shows after frontman Mihali Savoulidis fell ill after just the third show of the tour.
Among the newly added tour dates are stops in Plattsburgh, NY (3/30), New Haven, CT (3/31), Boston, MA (4/1), New York, NY (4/6), and Baltimore, MD (4/7). With the exception of NYC, all of the new dates will feature support from One Time Weekend.
Twiddle has also partnered with GrooveSafe—a nonprofit dedicated to bringing awareness to nonconsensual touching and sexual violence at concerts. Thanks to a donation from Twiddle’s White Light Foundation, GrooveSafe will be present at five of the band’s upcoming shows, including four of the newly added dates (excluding Baltimore) and Ithaca, NY on April 2nd, when the band will be joined by Yam Yam as support. “Please make sure to check them out, and stop by their table for more information on maintaining a safe concert environment,” the band said in its announcement.
Tickets for Twiddle’s newly added tour dates are currently available via an artist presale with password BEAUTIFUL. A local venue presale will begin Thursday, February 2nd at 10 a.m. ET.
