Twiddle and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced a five-date co-headlining run through the midwest leading up to their highly anticipated co-headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 2nd.
The five-date run, dubbed “Road To Red Rocks,” will begin with a show at Columbia, MO’s The Blue Note on April 24th before making stops at Urbana, IL’s Canopy Club (4/25); Milwaukee, WI’s Turner Hall Ballroom (4/26); Minneapolis, MN’s Varsity Theater (4/27); and a final performance at Omaha, NE’s Slowdown on April 28th before their big show at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on May 2nd.
According to the announcement press release, “The ‘Road To Red Rocks’ run promises to be something truly amazing for two bands who truly grew through the scene simultaneously, speaking to their intertwined–and very friendly–history. For this limited run of shows, Twiddle and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will alternate who closes each night. Additionally, fans will be treated to a full set of music from both bands at each stop and each show lends itself to spontaneous sit-ins and unique collaborations between groups.”
