Umphrey’s McGee has announced another self-proclaimed “fresh” new batch of tour dates for this summer. In addition to the previously confirmed May and June dates, the Chicago rockers will spend much of August on the road with Arizona rockers Spafford, as well as The Nth Power with The Spirit Horns (Natalie Cressman and James Casey of Trey Anastasio Band).
After the tour opener at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, and a return to one of the band’s homes away from home at Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Umphrey’s McGee will head south this August for stops at the House of Blues Orlando, The Fillmore Miami Beach, St. Augustine Amphitheatre, and the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville. Following three big sets at LOCKN’ Festival, Umphrey’s McGee will hit The Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, Kentucky on August 25. Spafford will serve as the supporting band for the first five shows of the run.
From there, The Nth Power and The Spirit Horns will help finish up the tour with a show in New Orleans at the Joy Theater, as well as the band’s debut at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, and House of Blues Dallas.
A ticket pre-sale will take place Wednesday, March 28th at 10:00 am ET through Umphrey’s Ticketing, with public on-sale beginning Friday, March 30th at 10:00 am ET.
