Umphrey’s McGee traveled up to Woodstock, NY for the band’s first-ever performance at Levon Helm Studios on Sunday. Billed as Rambling On: Mostly True Tales, the intimate concert saw Umphrey’s McGee bust out a cover of Marvin Gaye‘s “Don’t Do It”, as popularized by The Band, for the first time in a decade.

In addition to two sets of music, UM’s Rambling On concert—which also aired as a livestream—saw the band taking pre-submitted questions from the audience. The show, which took place at the site of the late The Band drummer’s Midnight Rambles concerts, mostly featured originals up until the second encore when the show was capped by a fitting cover of “Don’t Do It”.

Umphrey’s McGee had not played the Gaye original largely associated with The Band since December 31st, 2011 (or 843 shows), per All Things Umphrey’s. Sunday’s performance marked only the third time Umphrey’s McGee’s covered “Don’t Do It” following the 2011 version and its debut on December 31st, 2004. Much like it did during The Band’s iconic The Last Waltz concert on November 25th, 1976 at Bill Graham‘s Winterland Ballroom—the site of The Band’s first-ever live concert—”Don’t Do It” served as the closer to a magical evening.
