Fresh off of their ‘Wrapped In The Round’ virtual concerts last week, Umphrey’s McGee was back in action in front of their fans on Saturday night. The rock band hosted their first real live performance since the national shutdown of live music back in March with their first of two At The Drive Inn shows at SeatGeek Stadium just outside of Chicago.

The band’s two-set performance appropriately opened with “1348”, picking up right where they left off from the encore of their last live concert in front of fans at Belly Up Aspen back on March 7th. The music moved into “Gulf Stream” before Umphrey’s continued to tear through the first half of Saturday’s show with “Bad Friday”, “Seasons”, “JaJunk” into “Wife Soup”, “Speak Up”, and “Synchronicity II”, which moved right into “1348” to close their triumphant opening set.

The band returned to open the second half of the show with “The Silent Type” and “All In Time”, with the latter charging right into “Roctopus”. “Hurt Bird Bath” came next, followed by the completion of “All In Time” before ending the set with “Making Flippy Floppy”. The show’s one-song encore was that of “Remind Me” to close the evening’s festivities.
