For those of you who weren’t able to catch the Umphrey’s McGee premiere of Reel To Real movie during their New Year’s run in Denver, CO, there’s still hope yet! UM will be showing Reel To Real at the SVA Theatre in Chelsea, at 1:30 PM on January 23rd, ahead of the band’s final night of their three-night run at New York’s Beacon Theatre.
The Reel To Real film is described as “an archival rock documentary about the innovative Umphrey’s McGee, diving deep into the early years of the band’s existence by examining their inner workings through unreleased video & audio.” Members of UM, as well as LD Jefferson Waful and manager Kevin Browning will be on hand for a Q&A session after the NYC premiere.
