As Umphrey’s Mcgee fans in Chicago and beyond get excited for the band’s upcoming hometown New Year’s run (at the Riviera Theatre on 12/29 and the Aragon Ballroom on 12/30 and 12/31), the band has announced a pair of official after-shows at that promise to keep the party raging late into the night.

First, on December 30th, Concord Music Hall will host the FIYAWRAPPER SuperJam, featuring a serious roster of musical heavyweights including Robert Randolph (Robert Randolph & The Family Band), Joel Cummins (Umphrey’s McGee), Big Sam (Big Sam‘s Funky Nation), Maurice “Mobetta” Brown (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Nicholas Gerlach (Michal Menert Band) and Dave Watts and Garrett Sayers of The Motet, with support from Earphorik. The second after-show, on New Year’s Eve, will see Future Rock hit the Concord stage with special guest Thibault. Tickets for the 12/31 show (presented by Silver Wrapper) are available here.
