On Wednesday night, Vampire Weekend served as the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The band continues to tour and appear in support of their latest release, Father of the Bride, which arrived on May 3rd via Columbia Records.

The Ezra Koenig-fronted rock band—comprised of two drummers and three guitarists—offered up a performance of “Sympathy”, off of their recently released LP. Although Koenig held a glimmering Epiphone guitar throughout the performance, the frontman barely played the instrument throughout the band’s late-night television performance.

Next up for the band is a performance over the weekend at Atlanta, GA’s Music Midtown. Vampire Weekend is currently in the midst of their 2019 North American tour and recently announced a sizeable extension to the Father of the Bride Tour that will keep them on the road throughout 2020.
