Rapper/quintessential one-hit-wonder Vanilla Ice has been arrested for home burglary and grand theft after stealing furniture, bicycles, a pool heater and several other items from a house in Florida. Vanilla Ice became famous for his hit “Ice, Ice, Baby” which stole the bass lines from Queen’s “Under Pressure”.
Ice, aka Robert Van Winkle, stole the items from a vacant home next to a property he was in the midst of renovating for his show, “The Vanilla Ice Project,” a home renovation show on the DIY network. Police found the items in question in Van Winkle’s home and took him into custody.
Ice has previously been arrested for domestic battery after assaulting his wife several times in 2008.
