Vida Blue has announced its first dates of 2020 in the form of a two-night run come spring with a performance in Atlanta and a late-night show during the second weekend of Jazz Fest in New Orleans.
First, Vida Blue—comprised of keyboardist/vocalist Page McConnell (Phish), bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band), drummer Russell Batiste (funky METERS), and guitarist Adam Zimmon—will head to Atlanta, GA’s Tabernacle for a show on Thursday, April 30th. The following day, Friday, May 1st, Vida Blue will head down to New Orleans for a performance at the Orpheum Theatre which falls during the second weekend of Jazz Fest.
A real-time ticketing pre-sale for the newly announced shows will take place today, Wednesday, December 11th, at 12 p.m. ET here. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 13th at 10am ET (Atlanta) and 11 am ET (New Orleans) at Page McConnell’s website.

Vida Blue returned with a bang in 2019 after more than a decade and a half away with the release of a new album, Crossing Lines, and a three-night run of shows at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club, Philadelphia, PA’s The Fillmore, and Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre in September. The newly announced performances in Atlanta and New Orleans mark the first Vida Blue dates scheduled for 2020.
