Recently, Voodoo Dead announced a 2020 Japan run, which will see the quartet honor the music of the Grateful Dead and New Orleans over three nights in February.

Voodoo Dead’s 2020 Japan run begins with a performance at Daikanyama, Tokyo’s Unit on Sunday, February 9th. From there, the band will head to Yokohama’s Bay Hall on Tuesday, February 11th, before wrapping the brief jaunt with a show at Umeda, Osaka’s Club Quattro on Wednesday, February 12th.

Voodoo Dead’s lineup for the Japan run is comprised of guitarist Steve Kimock, bassist George Porter Jr., keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, and drummer John Kimock.

Over the weekend, Steve Kimock and George Porter Jr. teamed up for a special Dark Hallow performance at Austin, TX’s Day of the Deadhead, which saw the musicians perform alongside Papa Mali, Matt Hubbard, Terrence Houston, and friends.
