Wanna Jam Out With Umphrey’s McGee? There’s An App For That

Whole World Band is an app that lets you jam out with some of your favorite artists — well, virtually. Umphrey’s McGee is the latest band to contribute to the app’s catalogue.

According to a statement from Umphrey’s,

It’s an app designed to put you on stage with us, an opportunity for you to add (or subtract) any instrument, voice, or other any other oddity you’d like. You can even put together your own version and remix the track based on fan submissions. The only limit is your creativity.

By downloading the app, users can play along with the band on their recent The London Session recording of “Bad Friday.” The multi-track video comes complete with an open 16-bar segment for users to add their own solo work.
