Fans of late rock guitarist Tom Petty can now rediscover one of his most beloved solo works as Warner Records has released the highly-anticipated deluxe reissue of his 1994 Wildflowers album.

Entitled Wildflowers & All The Rest, the reissue released on Friday includes 50+ tracks of never-before-heard alternate recordings and demos on a variety of format options ranging from 2CDs, 3LPs, and all the way up to an “Ultra Deluxe Edition” comprised of 70 tracks on 9LPs. The deluxe edition also includes an 80-page hardbound book featuring an introduction from Wildflowers producer Rick Rubin, as well as contributions from longtime Rolling Stone writer David Fricke, photos, a replica of the 1995 Dogs With Wings Tour program, and more.

Warner and the Petty estate have been building up to the album’s October 16th arrival over the past few weeks by releasing his home recording of the title track, “Leave Virginia Alone”, “Confusion Wheel“, “There Goes Angela (Dream Away) (Home Recording)“, and “You Don’t Know How It Feels (Home Recording)“.

Wildflowers has been out of print on vinyl for some time, and a re-release of the landmark record has been a topic of discussion amongst rock fans since Petty died from an accidental drug overdose in 2017.
