Haynes relaunched the WHB earlier this year with Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott, two-time Grammy-winning drummer Terence Higgins, saxophonist Greg Osby, and keyboardist John Medeski (Matt Slocum will tour with the band in place of Medeski in 2025). Together, the band toured Europe, played supporting slots on Slash‘s traveling S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival, and hosted its headlining Million Voices Whisper Tour alongside Haynes’ new Dreams + Songs Symphonic Experience, featuring orchestral arrangements of songs from the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Warren’s solo catalog, and more. For the new album, Haynes also called up singer-songwriters Lukas Nelson and Jamey Johnson and reunited with his former Allman Brothers Band bandmate Derek Trucks for their first in-studio collaboration in over 20 years.
Prior to the 2025 Warren Haynes Band tour, Haynes will co-host the SOULSHINE hurricane relief concert at Madison Square Garden with Dave Matthews Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Goose on November 24th and perform a three-night, two-city run of New Year’s shows with Gov’t Mule. Both Mule and WHB will also take part in the 15th edition of Island Exodus in Jamaica in January.
