After four years away, Christmas Jam will return to Asheville, NC on December 10th, 2022 with a lineup headed by Phil Lesh & FriendsTyler ChildersGov’t Mule, and more. The event presented by Gov’t Mule bandleader and Asheville native Warren Haynes will take place at the downtown ExploreAshville.com Arena at Harrah’s Cherokee Center.

Also on tap for the return of Christmas Jam are Beth HartBrothers Osborne, and Dinosaur Jr. Special guests for the one-night-only marathon performance include a solo appearance from Hiss Golden Messenger (MC Taylor), Audley FreedScott Metzger, Katie JacobyMike Barnes, and more. Phil Lesh’s Friends for the performance will include Haynes, John ScofieldJohn Medeski, and John Molo.

“I’m excited to finally bring back Christmas Jam and continue the tradition we’ve been building for over 30 years,” Haynes said. “It feels like the perfect time to return to celebrating this wonderful cause (and life in general) and to be helping the community in my beloved home of Asheville. Christmas Jam is always such a special event for me and my family and this year’s lineup is one that is dear to my heart as it brings back some old friends as well as introducing new ones into the fold. Looking forward to being together for an amazing night of music and holiday cheer.”

Pre-sale tickets to the 31st edition of Warren Haynes Presents: Christmas Jam go on sale on Friday, October 14th at 10 a.m. ET alongside a limited number of VIP packages. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 21st at 10 a.m. ET. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville.

The 2022 installment of Christmas Jam will mark the first since 2018 when Haynes celebrated the concert’s 30th anniversary with a two-night show at the U.S. Cellular Center, now known as the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. Haynes put Christmas Jam on hold in 2019, with 2020 and 2021 editions later thwarted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The last celebration featured a Gov’t Mule performance of Dark Side of the Moon, a “Dave Grohl & Friends Play ‘Play‘” superjam, Eric ChurchMike GordonJim JamesJamey Johnson, and more.
