The long-running New York Guitar Festival kicks off this week with virtual performances in tribute to the late Reverend Gary Davis from a mix of artists which now includes Warren Haynes.
Announced this week, Haynes adds to an impressive roster of musicians for the Reverend Gary Davis: In Search Of The Harlem Street Singer series which includes Jorma Kaukonen, Fantastic Negrito, Sonia de los Santos, Larry Campbell with Teresa Williams, and more. The pre-recorded videos of each artist performing music in tribute to the late blind blues musician each premiere daily on the festival’s YouTube page at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.
