Last night, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years. While every diehard Cubs fan has been waiting for this day their whole lives, perhaps none symbolize this excitement as much as Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder.

Of course Vedder was at the game, and CBS News got an interview with him right after the historic victory. We’ll let you watch the rest. Congrats Cubs!

This morning, the Cubs posted a montage video using Vedder’s “All The Way”, a song written in 2007 per the request of Ernie Banks, longtime infielder who died last year, also known as “Mr. Cub” or “Mr. Sunshine.” The video is almost as tearjerking as their victory after a 108 year streak of loss.
