Election Day has now come and is almost (finally) gone. Awaiting the results of the future of America takes a certain kind of patience, one that requires absolute understanding of the present moment. It’s a tough time, but music heals. Right?

Right now, Brooklyn Bowl is hosting a very special “Soundtrack to History” performance by the Everyone Orchestra, featuring a who’s who of jam icons that will be musically interpreting the election results in real time. The results and the mood of the crowd will be used as a muse for improvisation that is unlike any show that has come before it. To make things easy for everyone, the event is also being streamed for free via nugs.tv at 8pm.

Matt Butler will of course conduct the band, with Steve Kimock, Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner of The Disco Biscuits, Vinnie Amico of moe., Jay Jennings and Chris Bullock of Snarky Puppy, Jeremy Salken of Big Gigantic, Natalie Cressman of Trey Anastasio Band, former The Motet frontman Jans Ingber, Marco Benevento and Mihali Savoulidis of Twiddle on the impressive bill. Several unannounced special guests are also slated to make an appearance as well.

Sounds like an amazing way to spend election night! Stream the concert for free in the video below:

This event is presented by Magic Hat Brewing Company in conjunction with HeadCount. May the best (wo)man win.
