Grace Potter had some fun in Minneapolis last night, opening for The Rolling Stones at the TCF Bank Stadium. Potter didn’t settle for an opening set only though, returning towards the end of the Stones’ set to join in on vocals for the classic tune, “Gimme Shelter.”
“Gimme Shelter” has a very prominent female vocal lead part, and Potter came out swinging. She and Mick Jagger seem to be having a ton of fun, feeding off of each other’s energy for an exciting rendition of a great, great song.

The Stones continue their Zip Code tour with a set at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Saturday, which will also see Grace Potter as opening support. Meanwhile, Potter plays one show before her next gig with the Stones, and will continue on a lengthy summer tour.
