Last night, Jason Crosby hosted a very special “Friends” performance at the beloved San Rafael, CA venue, Terrapin Crossroads. Owned and operated by Phil Lesh, the Grateful Dead bassist was billed as a special guest for the show. Joining Crosby at Terrapin was a great lineup, including Stu Allen, Scott Law, Jay Lane, and Jason’s brother Chris Crosby.

Not only did Lesh sit-in for a heartfelt rendition of “Althea,” but the band got some extra help from Reid Genauer, of Assembly of Dust and Strangefolk fame. Watch Genauer and Lesh work their magic with the all-star ensemble below:
