Watch Phil Lesh Sit In With Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe At Terrapin Crossroads

On September 4th, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe stopped at Phil Lesh‘s restaurant and concert venue, Terrapin Crossroads, while touring the West Coast. Lesh was in attendance, and, as he tends to do, he sat in as a special guest for a song, joining KDTU for a funky, horn-filled version of “Shakedown Street”.

Lesh is just hours away from taking the stage at the new Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk, where he’ll be joined by Karl Denson, as well as Eric Krasno, Alan Evans, and Neal Evans of Soulive, Jackie Greene, Jason Crosby and Ryan Zoidis and Eric “Benny” Bloom aka The Shady Horns to make for a jazzy and unique version of Phil Lesh & Friends.
