Earlier this year, Ratatat dropped a new album Magnifique in our laps after five years of absence. Today, they shared a video of the song “Pricks of Brightness,” featuring the band performing in various atmospheres to an array of strangely aloof crowds.
In a press release, Director Luis Cerveró said that the video came about as “a result of many conversations with the band about the meaning of making instrumental music, and also about the idea of meaning in itself, what meaning exactly means or how meaningless meaning can be.” What do you think meaning means?
