Just days before The Who kicked off their massive ‘The Who Hits 50’ tour, frontman Roger Daltrey got a bit of unexpected practice in Bishopton, Scotland. While Daltrey was staying at the hotel, he was impressed by the wedding band, and decided to pop in for a quick sit-in.
The house band, The Milestones, said they didn’t normally perform any Who covers, but naturally threw one together to welcome Daltrey, who was eager to take the mic, sing a song, and congratulate the bride and groom on their wedding day. Check out the video of “I Can’t Explain” below:
