Watch Sharon Jones’ Powerhouse Performance With Tedeschi Trucks Band At Red Rocks

In 2015, the Tedeschi Trucks Band hosted a “Wheels Of Soul” tour that saw the band perform with Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and Doyle Bramhall II at venues across the country. Naturally, with so many tour dates together, the bands frequently joined forces for collaborative efforts.

Perhaps no stage could be more fitting for such a potent display of soul music than Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The three bands all emerged during TTB’s set for a medley of Sly Stone originals “Sing a Simple Song” and “I Want To Take You Higher,” igniting the famed Morrison, CO in an emotional frenzy.
