Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has released an excellent video from their one of their shows at Brooklyn Bowl this past March. Taking place during the annual Freaks Ball, the Grateful Dead inspired super group–made up of Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz, and Tom Hamilton–played three blistering nights at the Bowl, delivering a weekend of countless highlights to choose from.

With that in mind, the band just released an incredible video on their YouTube channel that provides just one glimpse of the epic three-night run. Taken from the March 26th, 2016 show, the video starts with some improv that slowly transforms into a “Not Fade Away”, slowly building tension that eventually lands perfectly on “Rubin & Cherise”. The “R&C” is filled with amazing moments, with Metzger and Hamilton linking up for some dual-guitar action to deliver a truly impressive segment of improvisation.
