Watkins Family Hour, the new side project from Nickel Creek siblings Sarah and Sean Watkins, released their self-titled debut album last Friday, July 24th. They celebrated the release with a set at the Newport Folk Festival, bringing out some amazing covers throughout the set.

Thanks to CBS News, we have footage of their performance of Grateful Dead’s “Brokedown Palace” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Steal Your Heart Away”. Punctuated by excellent musicianship, this is one band you definitely want to watch:
