Now that Thanksgiving has passed, many folks are gearing up for the winter holiday season. For fans of The Flaming Lips, this winter, they can share their love of the band with a new wrapping paper designed by Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne. Coyne’s psychedelic holiday wrapping paper design was created for the Wrap Up Homelessness initiative of The Curbside Chronicle, a newspaper in the band’s hometown of Oklahoma City that employs individuals who are homeless. The design itself is based on the cover art for the band’s recent 2016 LP Oczy Mlody, with subtle changes like the incorporation of a Santa head.
