Last night, Ween rounded out their Thanksgiving weekend run at Port Chester, NY’s famed Capitol Theatre after a delivering a career-spanning setlist on night one and a bustout-heavy night two. The band was on fire coming into night three, tearing through a set stocked full of crowd favorites.

While the previous night’s performance was highlighted by a trio of rarities, night three stuck to more frequently-played tunes. However, toward the end of the set, the band launched into “Mango Woman”, off the band’s 1992 live album At The Cat’s Cradle, recorded on 12/9/92 in Chapel Hill, NC. Before last night, the version on At The Cat’s Cradle represented the only time the band had ever played the song onstage. Needless to say, the massive bust-out (917 shows) received a huge reaction from the Port Chester crowd.

Finally, after a quick encore break, the band rounded out the Cap run with a big “LMLYP” encore–the first time the song has been given the encore treatment at a Ween show since Halloween 2010 (Deaner frequently uses the tune as an encore with Dean Ween Group).
