In the wake of The Purple One’s death, musicians everywhere are coming together and celebrating Prince’s life and musical legacy. A collective of Connecticut musicians are bringing that spirit to The Acoustic in Bridgeport, CT, as West End Blend has announced an exciting tribute to Prince.
The 10-piece funk/soul crew will also welcome Rob Somerville (Kung Fu) and Johnny Durkin (Deep Banana Blackout) into the fold for what is sure to be a truly fun performance. Prince’s music lends itself naturally to the big band sound.
