Widespread Panic will return to Boston in August 2025 for a three-night run at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The band had originally intended to visit Boston last August but canceled the run and several others so guitarist Jimmy Herring could undergo treatment for tonsil cancer.

Widespread Panic will visit MGM Music Hall at Fenway for the first time on August 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Tickets for Widespread Panic in Boston will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 18th at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. These will mark Panic’s first concerts in Boston since June 17th, 2015 when the band played a one-off show at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion (now known as Leader Bank Pavilion).

This announcement signals the latest run of shows Widespread Panic has rescheduled from 2024. In June, the band will return to Chicago to make up a run of shows that was canceled after bassist Dave Schools was briefly hospitalized. After playing the group’s annual Red Rocks Amphitheatre run in June, Widespread Panic will travel to Asheville, NC July 24th–26th to make up the first run of concerts canceled due to Herring’s cancer. Following an eight-month break, Widespread Panic returned to the stage over Valentine’s Day Weekend 2025 in Atlantic City, followed by the band’s annual spring break in St. Augustine, FL.

Up next for Panic is a three-night run at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater from April 24th–26th. Find tickets and a full list of Widespread Panic tour dates here.
