Widespread Panic continued their takeover of the Fox Theatre for New Year’s, playing a spectacular show for the second night in a row. While the first performance saw the group jam with Chuck Leavell and cover Motorhead (recap here), the second night saw more fireworks and bigtime jams.

For this show, the band welcomed Randall Bramblett to the fold. The musician added his saxophonic sound to tracks like “Pickin’ Up The Pieces” and “Fishwater” in the first set, and even played clarinet on “Sharon.” He rejoined later, in the second set, to lend a hand to the trio of “Ride Me High > Arleen > Red Hot Mama.”
