Widespread Panic will return to the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in January 2023 for Panic En La Playa Once. The 11th installment of the monsters of swamp rock’s all-inclusive Mexican destination event will occur January 14th–18th.
Widespread Panic will perform on each of the four nights, in addition to daytime sets and late-night shows from The Greyboy Allstars, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Grateful Shred, and Doom Flamingo. Panic En La Playa Once will also include another edition of the the Playa All-Stars, a specially curated group of musicians featuring Eric Krasno, Ivan Neville, George Porter Jr., Jennifer Hartswick, Chali 2na, Cochemea Gastelum, and Raymond Weber.
In addition to the musical lineup, Panic En La Playa Once will offer fans an array of vacation experiences. From morning yoga and artist-hosted workshops during the day to themed nightly celebrations, event organizer Cloud 9 Adventures bridges a music festival with an all-inclusive luxury vacation.
Located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, the Hard Rock Hotel Rivera Maya offers an array of rooms including premium suites that overlook the stage. The resort has also constructed new swim-ups and sky terraces for sunbathing and late-night revelry. The amenities extend out into the crowd with specialty-curated food, tequila bars, and wait service throughout the crowd so fans never have to lose their spot.
Attendees can also give back by joining Positive Legacy for an array of humanitarian and environmental efforts. The non-profit organization works locally in the Riveria Maya region by providing emergency hunger relief, medical and school supplies, extensive beach cleanups, and improving infrastructure at the largest turtle sanctuary in Yucatan.
Packages for Panic En La Play Once go on sale for returning guests on June 7th at 11 a.m. ET, followed by a general on-sale on June 8th at 11 a.m. ET.
