Widespread Panic has announced the forthcoming archive vinyl release for a pair of highly sought-after performances from throughout the band’s 30+ year history.

Panic will reissue the remastered recordings of their September 8th, 1997 show at Club Soda in Montreal, QC and the December 1st, 2000 show at S. Illinois University Arena in Carbondale, IL on vinyl for the first time ever. The archival reissues will arrive via their own box sets on 5 LP (Montreal) and 4 LP (Carbondale), although band did not specify a release date for either performance other than a general arrival window of fall 2019 in indie record stores around the country.

The two shows were initially released on CD and digital back in October 2009 and June 2008, respectively.

Widespread Panic recently brought their summer tour to a close following a performance at Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, FL earlier this month. Meanwhile, guitarist Jimmy Herring and his band The 5 of 7  on their first national tour throughout the fall months before they head to Japan come November.
