Wilco just surprised fans with an all-new album of original material. Titled Star Wars, the 11-track offering was released as a surprise today, with the following message from Jeff Tweedy.
“Why release an album this way and why make it free? Well, the biggest reason, and I’m not sure we even need any others, is that it felt like it would be fun. What’s more fun than a surprise?”
Better yet, the album is completely free! All you have to do is go to the band’s website and enter your email address, and Wilco will email you a link to download the whole thing. Thanks Wilco!
