Today, Blackbird Presents has announced a very special event, Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw, A Willie Nelson All-Star Concert Celebration. Going down on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at 7 pm CT at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, the event will honor 85-year-old Willie Nelson and feature an impressive array of artists to perform his greatest hits. Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw, A Willie Nelson All-Star Concert Celebration will be filmed and recorded for a major broadcast special slated to air on A&E Network in 2019.
Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw will feature performances by Willie Nelson himself as well as Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, George Strait, Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Lee Ann Womack, Lyle Lovett, Norah Jones and The Little Willies, Sheryl Crow, and Vince Gill. Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks, along with surprise guests and unforgettable collaborations to be revealed at the show.
