Willie Nelson celebrated the arrival of his 71st solo studio album this past Friday with the release of his Frank Sinatra tribute compilation, That’s Life.
The 11-track album is Nelson’s first studio effort since 2020’s First Rose of Spring, and hears the grizzled country music veteran explore the songs made famous by Sinatra, including “That’s Life”, “Cottage For Sale”, “Nice Work If You Can Get It”, “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”, “You Make Me Feel So Young”, and “Luck Be A Lady”. The recordings featured on That’s Life were produced by Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings during recording sessions in Hollywood, CA, and Austin, TX.
Nelson’s new covers album is available for purchase on CD and vinyl formats, along with a bundle option that comes with a 12″ x 12″ art print and a 252-piece puzzle.
