WinterWonderGrass has announced the lineup for Grass After Dark, the festival’s official late-night series. The series will take place following the main festivities at both the Colorado and California WWG events, with Leftover Salmon, Kitchen Dwellers, Neal Francis, and more set to perform.
The Grass After Dark series will take over three different venues each night during the two events. First, on March 3rd, during WinterWonderGrass Steamboat Springs (March 3rd–5th), the series will feature sets by Kitchen Dwellers and Unit 14 at the Grand Ballroom at the Steamboat Grand, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys and Sicard Hollow at Schmiggity’s in downtown Steamboat Springs, and Trout Steak Revival at Thunderhead Lodge. March 4th will see different bands play at the same venues, with The Lil Smokies and Tenth Mountain Division at the Grand Ballroom, Neal Francis with a special TBA guest at Schmiggity’s, and an evening with Big Richard at the Thunderhead Lodge. Then, on Sunday, March 5th, Leftover Salmon will take over the Grand Ballroom with support from Saints and Liars.
WinterWonderGrass will then head to California at the end of March, where another round of late-night performances will take place around Lake Tahoe. The Brothers Comatose will kick off the late-night series at the Olympic Valley Lodge on March 31st. Meanwhile, down the road at Moe’s Original BBQ, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys will team up with both The Sweet Lillies and Sicard Hollow while Mapache keeps the party going at The Plaza Bar. Saturday, April 1st will see late-night performances by Pickin’ on the Dead and Cris Jacobs Band at the Olympic Valley Lodge, Dusty Green Bones Band at Moe’s Original BBQ, and Neal Francis and Big Richard at The Plaza Bar. The series and the festival will conclude on Sunday, April 2nd with WinterWonderGrass All-Stars hosted by Lindsay Lou and friends at the Olympic Valley Lodge.
