“As a young man touring felt like an indulgent adventure: seeing new places, eating local foods, enjoying the applause and joining the party,” said Oliver Wood in a statement. “As I get older, however, it’s become more of a mission to connect with people and make them happy. We’re so grateful that our songs have found a special place in people’s lives. For all of us, band and audience, to share in a heartfelt human experience together is much needed in these times.”

In addition to announcing the new dates, The Wood Brothers have revealed that their next studio album will be titled Heart Is The Hero. The album, due in the spring of 2023, will mark the first from the trio since 2020’s Kingdom In My Mind. An announcement from the band noted that Heart Is The Hero‘s first single and an official release date will be revealed in February 2023.
