Wu-Tang Clan veteran GZA is set to bring his genius intellect and iconic rhymes to the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City for a run of show featuring a live band and special guest Talib Kweli. The GZA live band performances come as part of Blue Note NYC’s historic 40th anniversary celebration.

The engagement, set to take place on Tuesday, August 24th and Wednesday, August 25th will feature and early show (8:00 p.m.) and a late show (10:30 p.m.) each night. Tickets are available here.

GZA, aka the Genius, is the most cerebral and perhaps the most acclaimed individual MC in the Wu-Tang Clan. Among hip-hop aficionados, GZA is revered for his cool, precise flow and complex, literary rhyme schemes.

GZA’s dexterity on the mic will come to life at the Blue Note with help from a full live band throughout the four-show run thanks to a full live band. With help from fellow acclaimed rapper Talib Kweli, the outfit will work through “a number of classics that have shaped the sound of hip-hop.”
