XPoNential Music Festival will return to the Delaware Riverfront in Camden, New Jersey September 16th and 17th, 2022 with a lineup featuring The War On Drugs, Patti Smith, Geese, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Revivalists, Snacktime, Taj Mahal, and more.

XPoNentional Music Festival is hosted by and gets its name from WXPN, a noncommercial, member-supported public radio service of the University of Pennsylvania. The station also produces public radio’s most prolific popular music program, World Cafe, which is distributed by NPR to more than 280 U.S. radio stations, and the Peabody Award-winning Kids Corner.

Taking place at two adjacent outdoor venues, XPoNential Music Festival offers scenic views of the historic Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline. The family-friendly festival is conveniently accessible via public transportation and features extensive food, drink, and vendor selections.

WXPN’s carefully curated lineup will highlight a mix of new and established artists. The festival will present The War On Drugs with support from Patti Smith and Her Band and Geese at the Waterfront Music Pavilion on Friday, September 16th, followed by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats with openers The Revivalists and Snacktime on Saturday, September 17th.

Two additional outdoor stages at Camden’s Wiggins Park will host other artists September 16th–18th, including Jenny Lewis, Kathleen Edwards, Valerie June, Felice Brothers, Houndmouth, The Suffers, Lo Moon, Samantha Fish, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, The Dip, Bartees Stranges, Buffalo Nichols, Black Opry Revue, Dos Santos, Tamino, Cosmic Guilt, Catbite, The Tisburys, Omar’s Hat, Highnoon, and Chestnut Grove.
